I’ve always believed a song can say what the heart sometimes cannot.

I’m LaylaRay — a songwriter, storyteller and creator behind Hallow Sounds Recording Studio. I write original, faith-centered music without being confined to a single genre. From Country and Contemporary Christian to Rock, Pop, R&B, Blues and beyond, I let the story guide the sound. My songs are rooted in faith, life, love, loss, hope and the stories we carry with us.

For me, songwriting begins with the story. Sometimes it comes from something I’ve lived. Sometimes from something I’ve witnessed, imagined or felt deeply enough that it needed a voice. Whatever its beginning, my hope is always the same: to write something honest that makes someone stop, listen and feel.

Today, I use AI-assisted demo production as a creative tool to help bring my original songwriting to life, allowing artists, producers and listeners to hear the vision behind a song rather than simply read the words on a page.

My faith is at the heart of much of what I create. I believe God can use our stories — even the difficult chapters — for a purpose, and some of my most meaningful songs have grown from that belief.
